Aimi is a fine art artist and photographer with a BA(hons) degree in Fine Art from Duncan of  Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Art has always been her main passion but it was not until studying at university that she began  photography. Originally from Fort William Aimi moved to Dundee for 7 years to gain my education and bring up her young son. After a difficult start in life she uses her art and photography to show the world the beauty it holds. Now residing in Paisley many of her works include nature from local parks and birds from Dunn Square and surrounding areas.

ARTWORK

Ever since early primary school Aimi has been passionate about creating art and it has always been a big part of her life . Her work is mainly in acrylic paint but she also enjoys watercolour, pastel and digital art too. Aimis main passion are acrylic portraits, especially from horror movies as she is an avid horror fan. In addition she often creates work from her nature photography.

As well as art Aimis other main passion is fine art photography mostly inspired by her love of nature. The work focuses mainly on art of the everyday that can be found all around when you just take a few minutes too look. Often details can be missed as we travel about our daily lives and sometimes the unnoticed details are the most interesting. Aimi can often be found wandering around Paisley and surrounding areas capturing nature and wildlife as well as anything that catches her eye.
